The Faculty of Public Health Medicine is holding its annual Summer Scientific Meeting over two days, 24 & 25 May 2022.
This is a fantastic opportunity to hear about important new developments in the field of Public Health.
The meeting will include a variety of Abstract Presentations and winners will be announced on the second day.

- Dr Margaret Fitzgerald HSE Public Health Lead for Social Inclusion/ Vulnerable Groups - "Public Health action for Humanitarian crisis and movement of people"
- Dr Jurgita Ovadnevaite, School of Physics, NUI Galway - "Air Pollution- A presentation regarding air pollution sources in Ireland (including solid fuel); the tension between reducing air pollution and climate change"
- Prof Fionnuala McAuliffe Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, UCD School of Medicine - "Impacts and management of obesity in pregnancy and the potential post-pregnancy to prevent longer term health impacts"
