Dr. Shane McKeogh
Shane qualified as a doctor from UCD Medical School in 2000 and went on to work and further train in General Medicine in several of the large Dublin hospitals. He underwent specialist postgraduate GP training in the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland which he completed in 2006. As well as working as a GP in Ireland, Shane has worked as a GP in Perth, Australia and Yorkshire in England. He was the Director of the Irish College of GPs Network of Establishing GPs from 2006 to 2008. He coauthored the book "Signposts to Success", published in 2008 dealing with the business aspects of being a GP in Ireland. He is a member of the GP Specialist Register.
Dr. Darach O Ciardha
Darach has worked as a doctor in Ireland since 2000 and as a General Practitioner since finishing further postgraduate training in 2007. Since 2003, he has been heavily involved with representative and academic activity in Irish General Practice. He holds the position of Assistant Director of the Trinity College Dublin/HSE GP Training Programme. Darach is also Vice Chairperson of the Vasco da Gama Movement (a European Representative organisation for young GPs). In 2009, he designed and commissioned a website for the Vasco da Gama Movement (www.vdgm.eu).
Mr. Eoin Newell
Eoin is Commercial Director at GPBuddy.ie. He is responsible for developing new business relationships, growing the client base, offering support to existing clients and strengthening the GPBuddy.ie brand. He has more than six years of experience in direct commercial activity. Previous to joining GPBuddy.ie, Eoin was director of sales of two retail outlets. He also owned his own luxury goods store. Eoin holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Management from DIT.
Mr Barry Bowen
Barry was appointed Sales Executive for GPBuddy.ie in February 2011 and is responsible for building relationships with all Allied Healthcare Professionals. He is focused on delivering an exceptional level of service to new and existing clients. Prior to joining GPBuddy.ie Barry was a Research Analyst in the Biosystems Engineering faculty in UCD. He was also involved in Marketing and Public Relations for Leinster Rugby. Barry holds a M.Agr.Sc from UCD
