Mr. Joseph Newell - Founder / CEO

Joe has spent over 10 years working in technology start ups. Before GPBuddy.ie, he was Finance Director with Ticket ABC, a white label mobile ticketing solution for venues, artists and brands. In 2007, Joe received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from UCD with a degree in Electronic Engineering in 2000.

Dr. Shane McKeogh - Founder / Former Director

Shane graduated from UCD Medical School in 2000 and as a General Practitioner from RCSI in 2006. A member of the GP Specialist Register, Shane is a GP Principal in Solas Medical Centre, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14. He is a GP Trainer with the TCD/HSE Specialist Training Scheme in General Practice and has extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He has experience of the Australian healthcare system and the NHS having worked as a GP in Perth, Australia and Yorkshire, England. He was Director of the Irish College of GPs Network of Establishing GPs (NEGs) from 2006 to 2008. He co-authored the ICGP publication "Signposts to Success", published in 2008 dealing with the business aspects of being a GP in Ireland. He is the current ICGP/ HSE GP Integrated Care Lead for Adult Respiratory Disease

Dr. Darach O Ciardha - Founder / Director

Darach has worked as a doctor in Ireland since 2000 and as a General Practitioner since finishing further postgraduate training in 2007. Since 2003, he has been heavily involved with representative and academic activity in Irish General Practice. He holds the position of Assistant Director of the Trinity College Dublin/HSE GP Training Programme.

Mr. Eoin Newell - Director

Eoin has been a member of the GPBuddy.ie team since its beginning and is responsible for developing new business relationships, growing the client base, offering support to existing clients and strengthening the GPBuddy.ie brand. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Management and has over 20 years of experience in all facets of commercial and user activity online.
